Soundway Records

Rizomagic’s first single is out on Soundway Records. Diego Manrique and Edgar Marún formed Rizomagic in 2020. The Colombian duo are known for meshing intelligent dance and Afro-Colombian Caribbean music, which they refer to as ‘Tropical Futurism’. Diego and Edgar are both established figures in Bogotá's alternative psychedelic scene. Diego was the director of Niño Pueblo, Avant-garde cumbia orchestra, while Edgar Marún led Dorado Kandua, an ethno-afrobeat project.
